Research Note: #75828 and #75839: Verified with Higginbotham's patented hairspring stud and Breguet hairspring. This is inconsistent with the standard hairspring studs fitted on most Model 2 production, with the exception of the premium grades like "Henry Molineux".

Serial Number 75839 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: The plate has a patent date of 1887 which differs
from the estimated date of 1884. Your chart says
it has a flat hairspring but this one has a
Breguets over coil hairspring.
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. The date estimate for this run is c.1894 (not 1884). Most of the Model 2 grades were fitted with a flat hairspring. However, I did confirm that this particular movement features the Breguet hairspring, and the database will be updated accordingly.
