Serial Number 233396 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: Just checking my records from many years ago and
this watch was supposedly made in 1889, if thts of
any help.

I also believe its an 18,000 bph beat train.

Thomass' first watch i was told was 1885.
Curator Response: Thanks for the report. Estimated dates for Seth Thomas watches are difficult to pinpoint due to the company's practice of designating larger blocks for certain models. As a result, movements were not finished in a predictable order. Yes, the first Seth Thomas watch was introduced in 1885, and your estimated date of 1889 for this serial is reasonable.

Serial Number 233235 was reported as inaccurate.

Note: It doesnt have the same finish pattern. My serial
number has a gothic arch type of finish
